A DAY OUT IN DORSET
Come with us to the beautiful coastline of Dorset.
We spend the morning in Swanage, once a small port and fishing village . It thrived during Victorian times when in first became a significant quarrying port and later a seaside resort for the rich of the day. Visit the Museum and Heritage Centre. Enjoy a morning coffee at the award winning Chococo Coffee Shop. Visit the Antique and Knick Knack shops and stroll along the Victorian Pier. Take a walk along the sandy beach or, weather permitting, take a paddle in the sea!
In the afternoon we make our way to Poole, the largest natural harbour in Europe. It’s historic quayside is filled with the hustle and bustle of a working quay. Enjoy some alfresco refreshments and explore the independent , unique shops dotted along the waterfront.
