Set in over 160 acres of beautiful parkland the Cotswold Wildlife Park has not only stunning gardens, but an amazingly diverse collection of birds and animals.

 

There are over 130 different species of birds, reptiles, amphibians, and the collection of mammals is second to none! Marval at the Red Pandas, giraffes, lions, Zebra, Rhino and how often do you see an anteater!

 

During the day you can watch the penguins and lemurs being fed. For the children there is a farmyard where animals can be approached and touched or stroked. There are an adventure playground and a narrow-gauge railway to take you around the park (tickets at your own cost)

 

The date of our trip is during the summer half term, so bring the grandchildren for a great day out, with no driving or parking concerns!

 

Refreshments – Picnic facilities are dotted around the park along with kiosks selling snacks and ice creams. The Oak Tree Restaurant serves hot meals, drinks and sandwiches.

 

Accessibility – The park is flat with well-maintained wide paths
