A Royal Day Out at Buckingham Palace The State Rooms, The Royal Mews and The Kings Gallery

Visit, The State Rooms, The Royal Mews and the exhibition Her Life in Style, Queen Elizabeth II in The Kings Gallery.
We have arranged timed access to these three areas within Buckingham Palaces site. A multimedia tour is offered in each area to enhance your visit.
The Royal Mews is one of the finest working stables in existence. Over 200 yrs old, the Mews remains the home of all road travel arrangements for The King and members of the Royal Family, from horse and carriage to car and from livery to harness. Highlights include, The Gold State Coach, The Diamond Jubilee State Coach and The Carriage Horses. (Approximately 1 hour)
The Kings Gallery - To mark the centenary of Queen Elizabeths birth The Kings Gallery will play host to the largest and most comprehensive exhibition of the late Queens fashion ever mounted. Over 200 items will chart the remarkable story of Britains longest reigning Monarch through clothing worn through all ten decades of her life. (Approximately 1 hour)
Buckingham Palace State Rooms Buckingham Palace serves as the official London residence of His Majesty The King. It is one of the few working palaces remaining in the world today. Highlights include the Picture Gallery, with artist represented such as Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Rubins, Titan and Canaletto. The State Dining Room which has hosted generations of formal dinners and diplomatic gatherings. The Throne Room central to the room are a pair of chairs which were made for Queen Elizabth II and Prince Philip in 1953. The room has been used as a backdrop for many royal photographs. (Approximately 2hrs - 2hrs 30 mins)
The complete tour will last approximately 4 hrs 4hrs 30mins.
Please note
· There is a lot to see during this visit and you are advised to wear comfortable shoes. Apart from walking around the various areas described above, the route includes a walk of approximately 1/3 mile along a gravel pathway through the gardens.
· Toilets facilities are located in the garden at the end of the route through the palace.
Refreshments There is a café and ice-cream parlour situated at the end of the Palace visitor route, therefore only accessible once you have completed your visit. Bottled water only may be taken into the Palace.
