The National Army Museum Chelsea
Our first port of call will be the National Army Museum in London.
The museums five galleries over four floors tell a huge range of stories from the history and development of the army from the 17th century onwards. The different areas reveal individual experiences of life as a soldier, including the conflict they have fought in. There will be plenty of time to browse the galleries and enjoy the displays and information.
NB The museum is next door to the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the home of the Chelsea Pensioners.
Refreshments The museum has a café which caters for snacks and hot food, which will ideal for lunch at your own cost.
Accessibility The museum can be entered via a ramp. There are both lifts and stairs to the individual floors and seating within the galleries.
