Join us for a peaceful drive through the beautiful New Forest followed by a visit to Lymington.
The historic, coastal town of Lymington is colourful and vibrant with a rich maritime history. Situated on the west bank of the Lymington River, on the edge of the Solent, Lymington is a major yachting centre with three marinas.
The traditional Saturday market in Lymington has approximately 100 stalls selling everything from fine foods, local produce to clothing and antiques. There are plenty of shops to visit, restaurants and cafes for a spot of lunch.
Enjoy the market followed by lunch down by the marina and a wander by the water – an ideal way to spend a Saturday! Our drive home will again be through the New Forest, maybe spotting some of the many New Forest ponies or donkeys.
Accessibility – Lymington High Street is sloping and a number of the streets are cobbled.
