In Hampshire, the village of Hythe nestles between the edge of the New Forest and Southampton Water, with its surrounding area known as ‘The Waterside’.

 

An ideal place to visit, Hythe with its waterfront, boasts fantastic views across Southampton Water, and especially of the majestic cruise liners which come into the Port most days.

 

The village centre with pretty Georgian High Street offers a good range of interesting shops and services.

 

Hythe weekly market is one of the villages best loved traditional street markets, with a bustling atmosphere, the long standing and locally known traders, and high quality fresh food and goods sellers.

 

Returning in the afternoon, enjoy a cream tea and cruise around the Port of Southampton with great views of the cruise ships when in port.

Currently the pier at Hythe is closed due to needing some repairs. We're of course hopeful  that this will be resolved for our travels.

We're in communication with Bluefunnel, who will make a decision  by the beginning of  April. If works are not completed, they can organise an alternate  trip for us or cancel but we will stay communicated with our customers who book. If you should decide to not opt for the rearranged trip, there will be a full refund for you.
