After the great success of our visit to the Xmas markets, we invite you to join us for a visit in May

 

Springtime in Brugge is simply magical. In May, the city blossoms with flowers, mild temperatures, and sunny skies, perfect for strolling along the canals and cobbled streets. Enjoy fewer crowds at landmarks like the Belfry and Basilica of the Holy Blood, relax in charming cafes, or take a scenic boat tour through the canals. Parks and gardens, especially Minnewater Park, are at their most beautiful, making May an ideal month to experience Brugge’s historic charm and romantic atmosphere.

 

As well as the many chocolate shops Brugges has numerous places of interest to visit.  The historic city centre is a prominent UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Bathed in history it can take you back to the Middle Ages.  The iconic spires of its Cathedral and Bell Tower, cobbled streets, winding canals and whitewashed facades are picturesque.

 

Your day will start quite early and finish late, but what an experience to travel to such an iconic place for the day!

 

You will travel by coach on a train through the channel tunnel to Calais, then drive onto Brugges.  The group will be dropped off with just a short 15min walk to the centre of the old town.

 

Refreshments – There are numerous cafes & restaurants for all your needs throughout the day.

 

Accessibility – Some of the streets are cobbled, the pavements are wide and the area is mostly flat. However, be prepared to walk and wear comfortable footwear.
